Lucas Forced to Wash Luxury SUV in School Uniform — Then the Real Reason Behind the Rigid Academy Penalties Surfaces

Chapter 7 — Director Vance Rushes to the Administrative Office — Then Lucas and Pastor Thomas Follow

Director Vance curses under his breath as the password prompt blinks on the screen.

He types a long string of characters from memory.

The system rejects the input with a sharp red warning banner across the display.

“Damn it,” Director Vance mutters aloud in the empty room.

He reaches for his desk phone to dial the internal IT extension.

The office door handle rattles violently from the hallway outside.

Director Vance freezes, his hand hovering inches from the telephone receiver.

The lock clicks, and the heavy oak door swings inward.

Lucas steps across the threshold into the private office.

Pastor Thomas and Mrs. Gable follow closely behind the young student.

“Step away from the terminal, Director Vance,” Pastor Thomas orders.

His voice carries absolute authority through the small office.

Director Vance stands up slowly from his leather desk chair.

He forces a tight, defensive smile onto his face.

“You have no right to enter my private office without a formal warrant,” Director Vance claims.

“This is school property, and I am the administrative supervisor.”

Lucas walks directly toward the glowing computer monitor.

He points a finger at the active browser window on the screen.

“Look at the timestamp in the corner, Pastor Thomas,” Lucas says.

Pastor Thomas steps closer to the desk and examines the display.

“Midnight,” Pastor Thomas reads aloud.

“The server logs show an administrative login from this exact terminal at twelve minutes past midnight last night,” Lucas explains.

Mrs. Gable leans over the edge of the mahogany desk to inspect the data stream.

“That is the exact moment the scholarship endowment fund was routed to an offshore account,” Mrs. Gable confirms.

Director Vance shakes his head sharply.

“That log has been falsified,” Director Vance insists.

“Anyone could have spoofed my credentials.”

“The MAC address of this machine matches the entry log,” Lucas replies, tapping the plastic casing of the computer tower.

Mrs. Gable reaches into her cardigan pocket and pulls out a printed network log.

She places the physical document flat on the desk beside the keyboard.

“The physical access records prove that only your keycard unlocked this server room last night,” Mrs. Gable states.

Director Vance’s eyes dart toward the corner of the room where a security camera housing is mounted near the ceiling.

A small green indicator light on the camera housing blinks steadily in the dim light.

Without warning, the laser printer resting on the side credenza begins to hum loudly.

Thick stacks of paper start sliding automatically onto the output tray.
