Lucas Forced to Wash Luxury SUV in School Uniform — Then the Real Reason Behind the Rigid Academy Penalties Surfaces

Chapter 3 — Director Vance Lies About the Infraction Slip — Then Pastor Thomas Demands the Official Report

Pastor Thomas stops five feet away from the rear bumper of the black SUV.

His gaze moves from the wet suds on the floor up to Lucas’s soaked private school uniform.

He looks directly at Headmistress Sterling, who now forces an uneasy smile.

“What is the meaning of this?” Pastor Thomas asks.

His voice echoes sharply against the brick walls of the garage.

“This is an authorized disciplinary measure,” Director Vance says smoothly.

He keeps his right hand tucked firmly behind his back, gripping the hidden infraction slip.

“The boy violated school policy this morning.”

Pastor Thomas crosses his arms over his chest.

“I review every major disciplinary action submitted to the board.”

He steps closer to the front tire of the luxury vehicle.

“I have not seen any paperwork regarding manual labor penalties for months.”

“This falls under the vocational correction clause,” Director Vance claims without blinking.

“It teaches responsibility for property damage.”

Pastor Thomas narrows his eyes.

“Show me the authorized student handbook section for vocational correction.”

Headmistress Sterling shifts her weight from one foot to the other.

“The handbook was recently updated by the executive committee,” she says.

“Copies are currently being printed for all faculty members.”

Pastor Thomas shakes his head slowly.

“No amendments to the disciplinary code are valid without a unanimous board vote.”

He looks back at Lucas, who stands quietly holding the yellow sponge.

“Lucas, did you receive a written citation before being brought out here?”

Lucas opens his mouth to speak.

Before the boy can answer, Director Vance steps in between them.

“The paperwork is being filed in the main office as we speak,” Director Vance insists.

“There is no need to interrogate the student over minor administrative delays.”

Pastor Thomas ignores Director Vance and holds out his hand toward the older man.

“Then let me see the physical copy right now, Director.”

Director Vance hesitates for a fraction of a second.

He shifts his weight to pull his hand from behind his back.

As his grey suit jacket moves, a small crumpled receipt falls from his pocket onto the wet garage floor.
