Lucas Forced to Wash Luxury SUV in School Uniform — Then the Real Reason Behind the Rigid Academy Penalties Surfaces

Chapter 6 — Headmistress Sterling Confronts the Accountant — Then an Emergency Board Meeting Is Called

Headmistress Sterling lunges forward across the wet concrete.

Her hand reaches out to snatch the black flash drive from Lucas’s open palm.

Mrs. Gable quickly steps backward to block her path.

“You will hand that over right now,” Headmistress Sterling demands.

Her voice echoes sharply against the brick walls of the garage.

Pastor Thomas steps directly between the two women.

“Stop this immediately, Headmistress,” Pastor Thomas commands.

His tone leaves no room for argument.

“We are holding an emergency board meeting right this second,” Pastor Thomas declares.

He looks across the garage at Director Vance.

“Get inside the main conference room, Vance.”

Director Vance shakes his head slowly.

“This is an internal personnel dispute, Pastor,” Director Vance says.

“It does not require a full board assembly.”

“Embezzlement of student funds is not a personnel dispute,” Mrs. Gable snaps.

“It is a criminal matter.”

Pastor Thomas turns back to Lucas.

“Take that drive inside and plug it into the secure terminal,” Pastor Thomas instructs the boy.

Lucas nods firmly and clutches the small device in his pocket.

Headmistress Sterling glares daggers at the accountant.

“You have destroyed your career, Gable,” Headmistress Sterling threatens quietly.

“And you have ruined this academy,” Mrs. Gable replies without flinching.

Director Vance turns on his heel and strides briskly toward the side exit door.

His heavy loafers slap loudly against the damp concrete.

He pushes open the service door and disappears into the darkened interior of the administration building.

Headmistress Sterling follows him closely behind, her red tie fluttering over her grey suit jacket.

Pastor Thomas watches them leave before turning to Mrs. Gable and Lucas.

“Let us move to the conference room,” Pastor Thomas says.

Inside the quiet academy building, Director Vance hurries down the empty hallway.

He pushes open the heavy oak door to his private office and locks it behind him.

He drops his leather briefcase onto the mahogany desk.

He stumbles slightly as he reaches for the power button on his desktop computer tower.

The screen flickers to life, illuminating the dim office in a harsh blue glow.

Director Vance opens the main browser window and clicks on the cloud-based server management portal.

His fingers fly across the mechanical keyboard with frantic speed.

A dialogue box appears on the monitor demanding an administrative password to initiate a full folder purge.
