Sarah stared at Richard.
“Seriously?”
Mark raised one hand gently.
He wanted everyone calm.
“The image is stored in our service platform.”
Richard crossed his arms.
“And your garage controls the platform.”
Mark looked at him.
“You believe we changed the timestamp after you complained?”
“I’m saying it’s possible.”
Lena looked toward Sarah.
Sarah seemed more hurt than angry now.
At first, Richard had said she scratched the vehicle.
Now evidence had shown the damage before her work began.
Instead of reconsidering, Richard kept creating new reasons the evidence might be false.
Mark remained patient.
“Then let’s use something we don’t control.”
Richard frowned.
Mark pointed toward the front entrance.
A delivery truck had stopped in the customer lane at approximately 8:05 that morning.
Its dashboard camera sometimes captured the service driveway while drivers completed parts deliveries.
Mark called the parts supplier.
The driver was still nearby and agreed to check.
Within twenty minutes, he returned.
The dashcam footage showed Richard pulling into the garage.
The silver sedan turned slowly across the truck’s field of view.
For less than two seconds, the driver’s door faced the camera.
Mark paused the image.
Even at a distance, the pale line was visible.

8:04 AM.
Three minutes before the garage’s first camera angle.
Before Sarah had even arrived in Bay Three.
Richard looked at the screen.
He could no longer accuse the repair shop of controlling that footage.
Then the delivery driver said something unexpected.
“Actually, I saw that scratch before he turned into your driveway.”
Everyone looked toward him.
Because the driver had been following Richard’s car for several blocks.
