The overhead hall lights flickered once.
The harsh white glare illuminated the narrow corridor just outside the locker room entrance.
The figure on the screen turned sharply toward the lens.
The hood slipped back from the intruder’s head.
The face on the monitor was completely uncovered.
Marcus froze.
His fingers tightened around the edge of the metal desk.
His eyes widened as he stared at the high-resolution still frame.
It was Brooke.
The realization hung heavy in the small security room.
Brooke was one of Stella’s direct competitors for the starting lineup on the varsity roster.
Marcus dropped his clipboard in shock.
