Stella Accused Of Locker Room Sabotage — Then Security Camera Footage Exposes The Real Culprit

Chapter 4 — The Skates Are Swapped On Camera — Then Coach Vance Questions The Clipboard Logs

The digital playback showed the intruder reaching deeper into the bottom shelf of Stella’s locker.

A pair of pro-grade leather skates was pulled out into the open.

The blades gleamed under the overhead fluorescents.

The figure dropped the pro skates onto the floor.

Then, a second, beat-up pair of skates was retrieved from a hidden duffel bag.

The blades on the second pair were heavily rusted and notched with deep, jagged gashes.

The intruder jammed the broken skates onto Stella’s locker shelf.

Then the lock was snapped shut again.

Coach Vance stared at the monitor in absolute silence.

“The skates are swapped,” Marcus muttered, running a hand over the short stubble on his jaw. “The physical evidence in the locker was entirely manufactured.”

Marcus reached down and picked up the paper clipboard lying on the small metal desk.

He flipped the top page back to examine the incident reports logged from earlier that morning.

His eyes scanned the ink markings near the bottom of the sheet.

“Look at this,” Marcus said, holding the clipboard out toward Coach Vance.

“What am I looking at?” Coach Vance asked.

“The time stamp on the discipline report,” Marcus said, tapping the paper with his index finger. “You signed off on this infraction at twelve-twenty-two.”

“That is correct,” Coach Vance agreed. “Right after I found the locker locked.”

“The security footage of the swap happened at twelve-eighteen,” Marcus said, his voice tightening. “The report was filed four minutes *after* the intruder walked out of this room.”

Coach Vance looked from the clipboard back to the freeze-frame on the computer monitor.

The pieces clicked together with cold, undeniable logic.

The discipline infraction had been reported before anyone even knew the locker was tampered with, yet the paperwork matched a sequence that only the person who switched the skates could have anticipated.

“Somebody set this whole thing up to trap her,” Marcus said.

Coach Vance did not answer immediately.

He reached out and grabbed the computer mouse from the desk.

“Let’s back it up another twenty seconds,” Coach Vance ordered.

Marcus clicked the rewind button.

The playback stuttered as the frames reversed in a blur of gray and green.

“Stop right there,” Coach Vance whispered.

Marcus slammed his palm onto the spacebar.

The video froze mid-frame.

Coach Vance leaned forward until his nose was inches from the glass screen.

He squinted at the side pocket of the intruder’s discarded gym bag sitting on the bench in the background of the shot.

“What is that?” Marcus asked, leaning in close.

Coach Vance reached out and tapped the glass directly over a small embroidered name tag stitched into the fabric of the bag strap.
