Stella Accused Of Locker Room Sabotage — Then Security Camera Footage Exposes The Real Culprit

Chapter 1 — Stella Cornered In The Locker Room Over A Locked Bag — Then She Demands They Check The Security Camera

Stella tossed the final plastic training cone into the equipment bin.

The afternoon ice session had ended ten minutes ago.

The arena was mostly quiet except for the hum of the Zamboni scraping slush off the distant blue line.

She reached for her water bottle on the wooden bench.

Heavy footsteps echoed down the concrete corridor outside the locker room.

Coach Vance stepped through the doorway with a scowl carved into his weathered face.

Assistant Coach Marcus trailed right behind him, carrying a bulky black clipboard.

Coach Vance stopped two feet away from Stella’s equipment locker.

He pointed a thick finger at a heavy-duty padlock securing the zipper of a secondary gear bag.

“Why is that bag locked up?” Coach Vance demanded.

“Discipline issue,” Marcus replied before Stella could answer.

Marcus flipped open his clipboard and scanned a laminated sheet of team rules.

Stella stood her ground with fiery determination, her jaw tightening.

“I locked my spare bag because my primary skates went missing yesterday,” Stella said. “I’m protecting what’s left.”

“Protecting it from what?” Coach Vance asked, crossing his arms over his windbreaker. “You’re dodging the locker room inspection.”

“I am not dodging anything,” Stella said.

She pointed straight up at the dome-shaped security camera mounted firmly in the corner above the doorway.

“Then watch what happened before practice,” Stella insisted.

“This camera records the gate and bench, and it’ll show everything.”

Coach Vance and Marcus exchanged a skeptical glance.

Marcus tapped the top of his clipboard against his thigh.

“The server logs don’t just pull up instantly, Stella,” Marcus muttered.

“Pull them up anyway,” Stella challenged, stepping back so they had a clear view of the wall-mounted monitor near the showers. “Check the timestamp from noon.”

Coach Vance nodded slowly to his assistant.

“Fine. Let’s see the feed.”

Marcus walked over to the corner station and keyed his admin password into the security terminal.

The wall monitor flickered from a frozen team schedule to a live digital desktop.

Marcus clicked on the archived video folder and located today’s arena files.

As the tape rolled, the camera panned across the empty ice before zooming in on the exact angle overlooking the locker room benches.

Stella stared intently at the screen, waiting for the time code to reach lunch hour.

“Look at who was in here while the team was at the film session,” Stella said, pointing at the monitor.

Marcus leaned in close, resting both palms on the wooden counter.

The timestamp in the corner of the screen ticked forward to twelve-fifteen.

The swinging door creaked open on the recording.

A hooded figure stepped into the frame, glancing nervously toward the hallway.

The person walked directly to Stella’s unlatched locker and pulled out a pair of pro-grade hockey skates.

Marcus squinted, his eyes going wide with total shock as the hood slipped back under the fluorescent lights.

“Wait,” Marcus whispered, the color draining from his face. “That wasn’t supposed to be in here.”

Coach Vance stepped closer to the screen, staring at the face of the teammate clearly visible in the surveillance capture.

“Pause the tape right there,” Coach Vance ordered, his voice dropping an octave.

Marcus’s fingers hovered over the keyboard as he froze the frame on a timestamp that directly contradicted the discipline notes on his clipboard.
