Hotel Staff Caught on Camera Stealing Keycard — Then Head Housekeeper’s Lie About Broken Surveillance Collapses
Chapter 4 — Head Housekeeper’s Defensive Stance — Then Brenda’s Sudden Shift From Nervous to Aggressive
Brenda’s entire posture shifted from rigid panic to aggressive defense in a single fraction of a second.
Her hands lashed out toward the tablet screen.
“That’s garbage!” Brenda shouted, lunging forward with her palms open.
She tried to swat the digital device directly out of Lily’s hands.
Mr. Harrison reacted instantly.
He stepped directly between Brenda and Lily, catching Brenda’s wrist before her fingers could strike the screen.
“Keep your hands to yourself,” Mr. Harrison warned, his voice dropping into a low, authoritative register.
Brenda yanked her arm back, breathing heavily as her chest heaved beneath her uniform vest.
“That video is fake!” Brenda spat, her voice climbing in pitch and volume to echo down the carpeted hallway. “Anyone can manipulate these apps! It’s a setup!”
“It’s a live cloud feed, Brenda,” Mr. Harrison replied coldly, refusing to back down.
“You downloaded something onto that tablet!” Brenda insisted, pointing a shaking finger at Lily. “She’s just a kid making up custom files! It’s altered!”
Mr. Harrison stared hard at the head housekeeper, unblinking.
He reached out and tapped the upper corner of the tablet display.
A small green security certificate icon pulsed beside the timestamp data.
Mr. Harrison pressed the icon to open the system integrity log.
